My name is Gandy Lucien, senior pastor of Grace Emmanuel Tabernacle of the C&MA in Port St. Lucie, FL. I was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I grew up in a Christian environment, and I attended Baptist, Methodist, and Full Gospel churches, respectively, in the town of Petion-Ville. I came to the United States at the age of 18 years. In the USA, I attended Baptist Church of the Redeemer and Brooklyn Tabernacle in Brooklyn, New York. 6 years later, I relocated to Florida. Upon moving to Florida, I attended various Evangelical churches in the city of Fort Lauderdale and North Lauderdale.
I met my wife Mirma in Brooklyn, New York. We got married in 1993, and we relocated, establishing our residence in Florida thirty years ago. God has blessed us with a set of twin sons, David and Jonathan who are serving the Lord wholeheartedly.
Subsequent to moving to Fort Lauderdale, my wife and I received a call to Port St. Lucie, where I started the ministry of Grace Emmanuel Tabernacle 20 years ago. In the process of joining the C&MA, I completed a Master's degree in Biblical Studies at Crown College in Minnesota.
In the secular realm, my first full-time job was in New York working with Citibank. Upin relocating to Florida, I attended Nova Southeastern University and Florida International University where I earned a Specialist degree in Psychology. I started teaching at Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale and became a school psychologist working in the school districts of Broward and Palm Beach, respectively. I retired from the School District of Palm Beach three years ago, and now I am focused on the ministry in Port St. Lucie and on a home-based health care related facility. I joined the C&MA in 2021, and I am privileged to serve on the board of the Haitian Association of the C&MA. I am deeply committed to helping the Association to move forward and in making a difference in the kingdom of God.
